  3. The test I think was the most accurate was global 5 because im curious and imaginative.My score for global 5 was

    Extroversion 42%
    Orderliness 58%
    Emotional Stability 48%
    Accommodation 64%
    Inquisitiveness 52%

    My score for Eysneck was

    Extroversion 43%
    Neuroticism 64%
    Psychoticism 43%

    The results were simliar.

    2.I think personally about personality and sport is one always affects the other.No because there are some introverts. There are some people who don't like to soclize.Those people are usually the outcast.Which means its usually harder to be a team when you have one teamate that won't be as involved.

  4. 1. I believe that my results on the 16Personalities test was most accurate. While all three of the test discussed personality traits that I believe I have, the 16Personalities quiz included creativity, imagination, and making connection with others which I believe I have.

    2. My Eysneck score was:

    Extroversion (sociability)67%
    Neuroticism (emotionality)75%
    Psychoticism (rebelliousness)25%

    My Global 5 Score was:

    Extroversion 70%
    Orderliness 60%
    Emotional Stability 18%
    Accommodation 84%
    Inquisitiveness 44%

    The results on all three test were very similar however, these two test saw me as more of an extrovert that the 16Personalities test did.

    3. I agree with the study that most team sport athletes are extroverts. Extroverts are drawn to spending their time with larger groups of people. They enjoy working with others which would cause a team sport to be something that they are interested in and their personality would also help them to do well at the sport. Introverts who enjoy more time to themselves would be drawn to sports or workouts that they could do mostly on their own. I believe that the personality does play a part in what sport individuals find interesting in most cases.

  5. 1. I believe that the 16 Personalities test was the best. While the other two tests described my personality pretty well, the 16 Personalities test went into greater detail.

    2.
    Eysenck Test Results
    Extroversion (sociability) 50%
    Neuroticism (emotionality) 68%
    Psychoticism (rebelliousness) 36%

    Big Five Test Results
    Extroversion 50%
    Orderliness 52%
    Emotional Stability 36%
    Accommodation 60%
    Inquisitiveness 52%

    3. I agree with the study that most team sports are extroverts. Team-oriented activities require socializing and teamwork and introverted people don't have those skills. Introverts drawn to more individual activities such as swimming.

  6. 1. I think that the 16pesonalitites quiz was the most accurate because it seemed the most like me.

    2.
    Eyesenck results:
    Extroversion (sociability) |||||||||||||||| 67%
    Neuroticism (emotionality) |||||||||||||||| 64%
    Psychoticism (rebelliousness) |||||||||||||| 53%

    The Big Five Results:
    Extroversion |||||||||||||||| 62%
    Orderliness |||||||||||| 42%
    Emotional Stability |||||||||||| 44%
    Accommodation |||||||||||| 46%
    Inquisitiveness |||||||||||||| 52%

    The three results were all sort of similar.

    3. some people do not like to socialize with everyone but they may still like and/or be good at a team sport. There is no reason to think that it would affect skill either. However, It would make sense that introverted people would be drawn to more isolated sports or workouts.

  7. 1.) I believe my 16 personalities score was the most accurate because it said I was a mix of extroverted and introverted. I believe I am a mix because I have my days where I want to be left alone and others where I want to be talkative and outgoing.

    2.) Eysneck score:
    Extroversion (sociability):76%
    Neuroticism (emotionality):64%
    Psychoticism (rebelliousness):33%

    Global 5:
    Extroversion:76%
    Orderliness:76%
    Emotional Stability:32%
    Accommodation:66%
    Inquisitiveness:42%

    3.) I agree with the study that most team athletes are extroverts but that doesn't mean there are no introverts involved with team sports. I believe all types of people play all types of sports but usually an extrovert would be drawn toward a team sport because they enjoy being social. I think personality affects sport choice, and the sport you play, with time, effects your personality.

  8. 1. I think that my results for the Eysneck test were the most accurate because it described me as a person that worries a lot, gets anxious, and is insecure and that describes me very well. However, i think all of the tests were very accurate.

    2. My results for the Eyesneck test were
    Extroversion (sociability) 25%
    Neuroticism (emotionality) 75%
    Psychoticism (rebelliousness) 67%

    The Big Five results were:

    Extroversion 28%
    Orderliness 82%
    Emotional Stability 30%
    Accommodation 70%
    Inquisitiveness 30%

    All of the results were very similar, however, I think the one we did in class said I was more of an extrovert than I actually am.

    3. I think that most extroverts play team sports because they tend to be more confident and have good communication skills which benefit their team. They can communicate their thoughts to improve their performance of themselves and their team work. They are drawn to large crowds because that is what makes them feel comfortable. Introverts on the other like small groups because that is how they feel comfortable so they tend to do other sports that include just themselves.

  9. I believe that my Big 5 results were the most accurate. My mother thinks that my Eysneck results were the most accurate. I believe that the order part of the Big 5 results was the most accurate. It said that I was orderly at times.

    My Eysneck score was:
    Extroversion 52%
    Neuroticism 64%
    Psychoticism 36%

    My Big 5 score was:
    Extroversion 48%
    Orderliness 64%
    Emotional Stability 56%
    Accommodation 42%
    Inquisitiveness 38%

    I think that most team sport athletes are extroverts but I believe that some start out as introverts. It depends on how long you've been playing, if you've been playing with the same people your whole life, and how well you understand the sport.

  10. 1. I think the first one was the most accurate in my option. It showed what my actions and how i feel in certain situation. Also i feel that its easier to read.

    2.My results on Eyesneck test
    Extroversion (sociability) -64%
    Neuroticism (emotionality) -68%
    Psychoticism (rebelliousness) -26%

    My Big five test
    Extroversion -50%
    Orderliness -56%
    Emotional Stability -36%
    Accommodation -74%
    Inquisitiveness -58%

    my results Are both vary similar and different. But The one in class says i'm an introvert where both of these say that i'm mainly an extrovert

    3.I agree that most sports players are extrovert because they are on a team most of the time and need each other to help the other. You cant run pass and catch the ball you need someone to help you and if you keep to your self then your not going to like the people on the team and you might not help the. Because as much as you need them they need you to help them on the team.

  11. 1. I think that the survey 16 personalities was the best and most accurate of the three. I think that these results almost perfectly described me to a T and went into a lot of detail.

    2. My Eysenck Test Results were
    Extroversion (sociability) 89%
    Neuroticism (emotionality) 27%
    Psychoticism (rebelliousness) 26%

    my global 5 results were
    Extroversion 82%
    Orderliness 88%
    Emotional Stability 72%
    Accommodation 70%
    Inquisitiveness 34%

    All three of my results were very similar to each other.

    3. Personally, I think that personalities and sports have a lot to do with the other. I do agree with the study that most team sports have extroverts on them because those are the kids who love interaction with others and being apart of something like a team. I do also believe though that some introverts do still play team sports and overtime they may become more of an extrovert from playing that sport.

    ReplyDelete
  12. 1. I feel that the 16 Personalities Test was more accurate for me because the test itself was more thorough and it made the results more personalized to where it had traits about me and ways that I should act with that personality.
    2. Eysneck Test:
    49% Extroversion
    18% Neuroticism
    31% Psychoticism

    Big 5 Test:
    38% Extroversion
    52% Orderliness
    78% Emotional Stability
    38% Accomidation
    54% Inquisitiveness
    The results were pretty much the same for all of the tests.

    3. I think that in any team sport there will be a good mix of introverts and extroverts but it may be hard to tell because a person who is introverted outside of that sport may be extroverted in the sport because all of the other extroverted people have "rubbed off" on them and made them more extroverted over time. I do not agree with either claim because of that, because there could be more introverts than extroverts but the introverts just act more extroverted.

    Orderliness=62%
    Emotional Stability=32%
    Accommodation=50%
    Inquisitiveness=40%
    i think most sport players are extroverts because even if you aren't being in a team makes you more open and talkative and you just have to communicate with your team to be a team player and to b great at what the team does.

  16. 1. I think the global 5 was the most accurate. It asked more detailed questions I believe and it broke it down into 5 easily understandable categories and what percentage you were in each category.
    2. Eysenck: Extroversion-55% Neuroticism-54% Psychoticism-31%
    Global 5: Extroversion-48% Orderliness-44% Emotional Stability-36% Accommodation-60% Inquisitiveness-46%. The results were all pretty similar
    3. I agree with the idea that most athletes are extroverts but there are definitely some introverts as well. I believe that an introvert can become an extrovert once they become comfortable with an individual or a group.

  19. 1. I think the 16 personalities test was most accurate because it asked the most detailed questions and had the most questions, therefore offerent a variety. It gave the most results and elaborated on each of the subjects, and as I kept reading I kept seeing more and more atributes that pertained to me.
    2. Big Five Test Results

    Extroversion |||||||||||||||||| 74%

    Neuroticism (emotionality) |||||||||||| 44%
    Psychoticism (rebelliousness) |||||| 26%

    The results are similar in that I am really extroverted.

    3. I think the idea that most team sport players are extroverted is true because for a team to be successful there must be communication and teamwork. Therefore, if a quiet and introverted person is not willing to speak up there is not going to be adequate communication. This idea also matched my test results in that I am extroverted and also enjoy playing volleyball, which is a team sport.

  20. 1. I think the 16 personalities test was most accurate for me because the more I read about the attributes of my type the more I found characteristics that applied to me.

  21. 1. I think the 16 personalities test was more accurate because I related a lot to the description of my personality type and thought I had my many of the same characteristics.

    3. I do believe the article that said that extroverts are more likely to do team sports because they have some attributes that help them excel in the team environment. I also think that a lot of introverts do teams sports and can become more of an extrovert by participating in a team sport.

    Neuroticism (emotionality) |||||||||||| 50%
    Psychoticism (rebelliousness) |||||||||||| 43%

    1.I think the big five was a more accurate test, although I scored all the same basically on all tests.I fell this way because the questions were more "personal".

    2. What was your scores on the Eysneck and global 5? Were the results similar or different from the one taken in class?
    My results were all very similar, all said I was an extrovert but I believe that in only sport settings.

    2.
    I think personality has a lot to do with sports, a team need to be bonded to do well together, take a team that loves each other and cares for each other and compare the results of a team that barely talks and has less contact within their team.Chances are youll see the team with the most extroverts doing the best.
    I've been on multiple teams a lot being introverts and the outcome of our tourneys are less than the ones compares to my freinds team, the one where I talk to everyone and have sleepovers with. This also shows on coaches as well those who strive to get their athelets to all enjoy eachothers company by setting up camps and team work like running drills, and carrying drills.This helps break the introverts by creating friendships and goals together as a team.

  23. 1. I think the most accurate test was the 16 personality one because I knew exactly how to answer each question on it, more than the others.

    2.
    Eysenck Results:

    Emotional Stability |||||||||| 40%
    Accommodation |||||||||||||| 60%
    Inquisitiveness |||||||||| 32%

    The results from the 2 tests were similar.

    3. I agree that most team sports players are extroverts because in order to be able to connect with your teammates and have a good bond with them to be able to play the sport, you have to be able to talk with them and be comfortable around them instead of being shy and not wanting to talk.

    4. The results from the two tests are similar.

    5. I believe that most team sports players are extroverts but quite a few most likely started out as introverts. When bonds through sports start forming introverts become more social and build connections with other players making them more extroverted. I believe most team sports players are extroverts also because of the connections required between teammates to make a good team.
