  4. On the Fluid Dynamics Cont. note sheet you gave us, it says topspin restricts horizontal movement, and backspin increases horizontal distance. Will you explain this please?

    1. The spin on a ball with topspin makes the ball move down, backspin goes up. Go back to the notes you drew from the back board with the arrows.

  5. Why is the pitcher's mound raised?

    1. It makes the take off point higher than the landing point. Look in notes as to how that changes velocity. think of gymnasts sticking a landing
